What is Catena and what are its aims?

It is the intention of CATENA to provide personal contacts and joint activities, especially for the many small Masonic groups which have come to life in the past and present days, but only within the concept of symbolic or "blue" Freemasonry.

As regards the Higher Degrees there exists the independent organisation "International Union for High Grade Masonry CATENA".

Although CATENA furthers, without bias, the admission and coöperation of women in masonic Lodges, the individual decision of every Freemason is respected as regards joining whichever Masonic Obedience he feels is best for his own development.
